Ülemiste traffic junction car tunnel (facility nr 2)

Tunnels and ramps base plates were waterproofed using GRACE Preprufe 300R rollable membrane. The surrounding area of injection anchors penetrating through Preprufe membrane was sealed using GRACE Bituthene LM liquid membrane. The edges of the rollable membrane were sealed using GRACE Bituthene LM liquid membrane. GRACE Bituthene 4000 membrane was used to waterproof the walls of the ramps. GRACE Bituthene Mastic liquid membrane was used to seal the edges of the rollable membrane. Colbond Enkadrain drainage mats were installed on the walls of the ramps and on the ceiling of the tunnel to protect the waterproofing and for surface water drainage. PVC-joint fillers Kunex DA 50/3 and KUNEX FA 90were installed on tunnel and base plate deformation joints. The same system was used in tunnel base plate and ramp base plate deformation joint and also in deformation joint between tunnel walls and ramp baseplate. Kunex DA 50/3 was also installed in tunnel and walls deformation joints. PVC-joint filler Serviseal Type B was installed to a motion joint in tunnel ceiling plate outer surface. Tunnels and ramps base was covered with Xypex Concentrate coating from the inside. Drive-on plates were covered with FEB Aquaseal Hyprufe coat-applied cover.
