Endla Railway Viaduct
Endla railway viaduct, also known as the Kristiine viaduct or the „Undusk Valley“ (named after the former mayor (1961-1971) Johannes Undusk). The Endla viaduct was constructed in 1962. In 2006 in the Endla viaduct area a 1 km stretch of railway was reconstructed by Rööbasteede Ehitus Ltd. The construction was commissioned by Estonian Railways Ltd and the main contractor was VolkerRail RTE Ltd. During the reconstruction the railway-tracks were welded together, the railway sleepers were replaced and the gravel under the railway was sifted through. Also the worn sleepers and rubber pads under the sleepers, the geometry of the railway was improved and additional gravel was laid down. On the Lilleküla railway crossing the road covering plates were replaced.
At the commission of the main contractor we carried out various renovation and hydro-insulation works of the reinforced concrete of the viaduct.
