Emajõe Business Centre
In August 2008 Emajõe Hub Community and Business Centre Tasku opened in Tartu, on 42 000 m² of which there is a cluster cinema, a conference centre for 900 people, a coach station extension, various cafes and pubs, famous fashion companies’ outlet stores, a SPA hotel and a car park for more than 550 cars. The construction developer is Estiko AS, the contractor – YIT Ehitus AS and the architect – Kalle Rõõmus arhitektuuribüroo AS.
The contractor ordered with our company different waterproofing works.

What we did
We installed waterproofing system, including the protective heat insulation on the basement of the shopping and community hub of the business centre.
What we used
Waterproofing works in the car park basement were fulfilled with GRACE Preprufe/Bituthene system, including the protective heat insulation. We installed waterproofing membrane Preprufe 300R under the bottom slab, with turned up side formwork in the bottom slab gauge. As plenty of the piling reinforcement dowels went through Preprufe membrane, it was necessary to seal areas around them with Bituthene LM liquid membrane. The walls were waterproofed with Bituthene 4000, for protection we installed EPS120 Routa heat insulation plates.
