Overpass on Pärnu Highway

The overpass on Pärnu Highway was built in 1986 in Tallinn. Beneath the viaduct there are three railway branches, Tehnika and Kauba streets.

Girders, bearing beams, walls and poles were repaired during construction works on the overpass in 2014. Barrier elements, stairs and ramps were also repaired during the works. Surfaces were mechanically cleaned and sandblasted. To prevent corrosion, the cleaned armature was covered using a mineral corrosion coating. MC-Bauchemie and Betosan concrete repair mixtures were used to restore the concrete layer. The repaired concrete surface was covered with crack-bridging protection system MC Color-FlexS/E.

Overpass repair works were conducted by AS Teede Rev-2, ordered from Tallinn Municipal Service.
