Kristiine shopping centre extension
Kristiine shopping centre is a trade centre complex which is the biggest in Estonia according to the number of renters. There are 170 shops and service offices in 53 000 sq.m bruto area that was opened in th 28th of May in 1999. There are 18 dining places, 15 shoe shops and 80 fashion stores in the shopping centre. Every day around 20 000 guests visit the shopping centre. Kristiine shopping centre has been extended two times. First time in 2002, when the building was lengthened by 17 000 sq.m and the second time was in 2010 when a 20 000 sq.m of extension was opened.
Performed works. Roof ceiling and ramp were primed and covered with a rolled-on membrane GRACE Bituthene 4000 in two layers. Rolled-on membrane edges were sealed using GRACE Bituthene Mastic liquid membrane. To ensure smooth rolled-on membrane continuity, corners needed to be filleted using GRACE Bituthene LM liquid membrane. Insulation was installed to protect the waterproofing. GRACE Servipak 3 mm protective boards were used on waterproofing ramps turnarounds. Needed drains were also installed to the parking lot floor and to the ramps. Ramps deformation joints were filled with Migua deformation joint system. 96 posts on the parking floor were covered with MC Emcephob NanoPerm P protective coating. Ramps edges were covered with MCEmcephob NanoPerm T protective coating.
Cable tunnel was waterproofed with GRACE Preprufe 300R on the bottom and GRACE Bituthene 4000 rolled-on membrane on the walls and ceiling. INTERPLAST Iso-Drain 8 Diagonal drainage and protection mats were used on tunnel walls to protect the waterproofing and INTERPLAST Iso-Drain 8 GEO with geotextile drainage and protection mats were used on the ceiling.
